Events and Announcements

A one day workshop on the West Bengal- Bangladesh Border was organized by CRG in association with the International Committe of the Red Cross (ICRC) on 17 December 2014 in Kolkata to take note of the humanitarian situation, legal analysisand advocacy and policy recommendations on the Bengal Borderland. The workshop had as its participants eminent experts of the field, human rights activists, select members of the media, members from the scholarly community and other members of the civil society. The main purpose was to create awareness and sensitise people on the humanitarian needs for victims of border violence.
